Karl gave an interesting talk about herps and habitat in the Florida Panhandle.  Karl is an independent researcher who conducts ecological research across the southeast U.S. with rare and endangered species.  He specializes in ecosystems, carnivorous plants, bats, and herps.  He has been the co-chair of the Rattlesnake Conservation Commission (with the Gopher Tortoise Council) for the past 2 and a half years.  Details of the talk should follow soon.
